Crestbridge Fiduciary supports 30th IBA Conference

March 20, 2025

For the second consecutive year, Crestbridge Fiduciary was a sponsor of the IBA Annual International Private Client Tax Conference in London, which once again tackled several key issues pertinent to globally dynamic families.

Entitled "Transforming (un)expected challenges into opportunities for the next 30 years", the sold-out two-day event (2-4 March) included a broad range of discussions, keynote presentations and roundtable sessions covering timely topics important to today’s wealthy families, including: the death of tax-free regimes, tax residency issues and planning trends in the Asian market, and the treatment of digital assets in succession planning.

Attending the event from Crestbridge Fiduciary were Darrell King, Heather Tibbo, Steve Sokić and Mark Beer.

Commenting on the event, Darrell said:

“Once again, this year’s Conference brought together almost 400 of the leading private client professionals from around the world and provided a welcome and timely forum to reflect on the evolution of our industry, and discuss the forces that are shaping the future of our private client practice – not just in the year ahead, but decades into the future.

“It’s clear that the world that our wealthy clients are operating in is being impacted like never before by multiple interrelated factors. Sharing the experience that conference attendees have gained from decades of working with multi-jurisdictional families is proving critically important to ensuring that they can effectively navigate new and complex issues – from the introduction of new global minimum tax rules to the changing attitudes of the next generation”.
