Phil is chairman of Crestbridge Fiduciary and serves as chairman and CEO of Willow Street. Based in Wyoming, he represents the Wyoming trust industry on the State Banking Board. Phil is also a senior managing director at Brock Capital Group, where he has served in independent fiduciary roles
to large US pension funds. Phil has deep expertise in in fiduciary services, financial services regulation, risk management, operations, and corporate governance derived from his 40 years of professional experience.
Prior to Willow Street, Phil was executive vice president of risk and chief administrative officer at CA Technologies, Inc., a $4.4B annual revenue software company. He had global accountability for human resources, information technology, risk management, internal control, corporate real estate, government relations, and other functions. Phil served on the company’s investment committee, and also chaired it’s global information security council.
Earlier, Phil was director of business risk at Deloitte & Touche. As a member of Deloitte’s Governance, Regulatory, and Risk Strategies Leadership Council, he worked with several of the firm’s largest US financial services industry clients. He led engagements focused on enhancing regulatory compliance, improving enterprise risk management, and addressing significant SEC, FINRA, and state regulatory matters.
Phil joined Deloitte after serving in several senior management roles over a 20-year period at Prudential Financial, Inc., including chief risk and compliance officer of the company’s pension and group insurance businesses, chief compliance officer of its life insurance and annuity business, and interim head of the group insurance business. Phil began his Prudential career as director of mutual fund research.
Phil earned a BS, summa cum laude, from Western Michigan University and an MS from Cornell University.
